Observation Tower

This tower had to be placed in the natural park of the La Pedriza, on the outskirts of Madrid. The point of the project was to design a fireproof security tower that also worked as an observation tower for hikers.

The structure of the tower is made out of regular polygons. There are hexagons situated parallel in height and these are connected with triangles. All the elements are made out of corten steel, because this material camouflages itself being unnoticed.
